BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY
It’s International Bike to School Day on Wednesday, May 9th.  Bike to school with Mr. K in
our 2nd annual Bike Parade! We will meet at Adam Baquera Park on Painted Desert Drive
at 8:15 am and bike on the paths up to the school.  And we’d love it if parents joined in too
and biked with your kids. Scooters, walkers, and strollers are all welcome too. And don’t
forget to decorate your bike!

WEEKLY HOUSEKEEPING TIPS - REPORTING ABSENCES
If your student is absent from school please utilize the Absence Mailbox to report their
absence. When calling the school, choose option #1 to record your message and provide
the following information... Student's name, your name and relationship to student, date of
absence, reason for absence and a callback number. Thank you for your understanding
and help in minimizing the number of calls that come in to the very busy Blue Oaks office.
