The School Office is the hub of the school and can have many things going on at once at
any given time. Therefore, to create peace and harmony a few rules of etiquette should
be observed.
Keep noise and distractions to a minimum - Noisy conversations (either between
parents & teachers, parents & young children or visitors on cellphones) can be disruptive
when the Secretary’s are trying to take phone calls, assist students, parents, and office
visitors. If you are having a conversation in the office please do so away from the
secretary’s desk unless they are a part of the conversation.
Siblings are not allowed in classrooms, the workroom or staffroom - If you are
volunteering, you must find other accommodations. If you are attending a class party
please confirm with the teacher if siblings are allowed prior to bringing.
