October 27, 2017

The Blue Oaks Staff would like to wish you all a very happy weekend! Remember there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31, as teachers will be learning together!

From the Principal’s Desk

On behalf of myself and Site Council, I wanted to thank PTC and all of our families for their ongoing support of Blue Oaks. Without you, educational opportunities such as iReady, Science Lab, new technology (46 new chromebooks were added to campus this year and TK now has iPads), and professional development for our teachers would not be possible. Our school is so grateful to have such generous families that support the staff and students.

Thank you to all that participated in Red Ribbon Week. The door decorating competition was tough to judge as all of the classes did a great job and were so creative. Congratulations to Mrs. Hoffman's class for a second place finish and earning cooke party sponsored on by Student Council. Our winning class, with a pizza party on the way, was Ms. Scott's second grade class!
Have a great weekend and we will see you all on Wednesday!

Mrs. Peterson
